Air Filters

Hey all, I was looking in the crossover section and it lists all the different bikes and years you can use for air filter.But which year gasers are those for or does it not matter.I have an 08 ec250 . Thanks in advance

The filter changed for the 07 and later models. It was made smaller overall but the sealing area remained unchanged. The new filters are made more slanted on the bottom (as the filter fits on the bike) and seem shorter from front to back. Most of the older style filters will work on the newer bikes though some will press against the rear fender which could be problematic in very wet conditions.

The 2000 CR filter is really close, and all I use at the moment. Had no issues.
It only has one hole for the cage prongs instead of 3 on the GG filter.

Ditto on the 2000 cr filter. I have used many current filters. I love the $10 ready filter. Have used early Yam wr250 filters as well. Almost anything works.

So which filters fits my -00 ec300? By 2000 cr you mean honda? Cant get any parts to my gg exept from the importer, so if there is anything else than the original that fits, its good.

honda cr250 works great.

I'm running a '00 CR250 filter on my EC250, seems to fit okay, though I think it's a little longer front to back than it should be.
