Broken Chain Roller Tab

I knew this would happen eventually...

I fired up the Harbor Freight SplatterMaster 90 and tacked it back on.

Same happened to me except I don't have the other half . Any ideas on how to complete the circle ?

Member MattT (also from Phoenix) had his 2011 SixDays snap as well.

He essentially got some thicker stock, added minor bracing, and welded it in place.

You can weld on a hardened thick washer or use a hardened washer to reinforce the broken one.

During trail maintenance for the race, not only did the welded tab break off again, but the retractor bracket for the kick stand snapped off as well.

Funny thing (sort of) the bolts captured the ends of both pieces. I think that's a designed-in feature.

I went to a local race shop ( http://www.flexiflyer.com/ ) and picked up a collection of $2 tabs. Short on cash, I asked the owner if I could run a tab. He was not amused.

I think the tabs on the far left and far right should do the trick after some minor modifications.
