Chain and Sprockets

I am going through my bike after a long summer break and I am behind on getting it put back togther. I needed to replace my entire drive system, after much thought and I decided to go back with aluminum rear sprocket after much debate within myself. I know that many of you guys like and use the Dirt Works Ironman drive systems, so I choose another route. My last set of sprockets were trashed. I had used AFAM rear with great results, much better over using the PBI which is what I am replacing now.

I ordered a kit, AFAM Workslite rear in a 51 tooth and the AFAM counter shaft 13 tooth and for the chain I went with the RK 520 XSO 120 links /with clip style masterlink.

I ordered everything from http://www.sprocketcenter.com/ for a very good price.

Rear Sprocket PN# 15206+51 for tooth size
Counter Shaft PN# 94313A+13N for tooth size.

The PN#15206 fits the following bikes:

Beta: 400/450/525 (2005-2006)

Sherco 450/510 (2004-2007)

Suzuki DR 350 SE (1994-1995)
DR 350 S (1990-1993)
DR 250 S (1990-1992)

Husky all through (1999-2006)125, 250, 360, 450, 510, 570, 610

Chain & Sprocket Kit Gas-gas

Hello
I am from Greece and I have a GAS GAS 250 2008 model enduro and I want to change the front and rear sprocket and chain.
I want to know how many links should have the chain,
and where to order so to come to Greece?
Thanks

As for parts in Greece??? I have no idea. The amount of links will depend on your sprocket combo. I know 13/51 works out to 116 links.

Good Luck

I have found that it is best to buy a 120 link chain, size it up on your bike with your rear wheel at back the distance you want it and the slack you need, then to cut off / remove your excess links.

This avoids the costly and time consuming mistake of buying a chain that is too short.

I'm confident that any of the big U.K. accessories dealers will be able to send to Greece eg.

ps. a rivet remover tool is quite cheap to buy

I have a concern that the Sprockets wearing the ktm is the same as GAS GAS; This is because the shops are almost all ktm but not for gas gas
