clutch howling omg it's broken sound

Can a mod sticky the clutch noise thread

the sound just about gave me a heart attack this past weekend, now I know it's normal, but that thread is locked

I believe fitting the 2012 clutch cover will help significantly

My clutch use to squall like a stuck pig. I performed all the mods that BerkyBoy explains in the top thread, and i started using Rottela T in the trans-- presto no more squall or herky jerky clutch. I had the 4 stroke clutch basket on my bike so opening that up made a big difference Im sure. I also made the holes in the inner hub about twice the stock size. You might start by just using the Rottela t and see if that helps.

I have rotella t6 in it already, and I have a rekluse in now

i run amsoil 0w40 and it helped a bit but your pretty much stuck with the sound i think. my normal clutch and when i had the rekluse both did the same thing. it sounds way worse than it is, you just gotta think its only a noise

Another 2010 GG rider here managed to solve his squeal by using motorex*ATF Dectron 3*oil
