Countershaft bushing/spacer removal

Hi All,

I'm trying to replace the seal, bushing and 2 o-rings on my 07 ec250 but the bushing won't budge.
I've read on here to give the shaft itself a "whack with a rubber mallet" to get some play in and out which might loosen the bushing. I've done this and still no budging the bushing.
Is the diagram attached correct?
Any ideas?

If you are going to replace everything you can heat it with a heat gun or torch to get it warm (not super hot) and then spray it with some WD40. If you get it too hot you will need to worry about it catching fire.

Thank you for your reply, I was unsure if I could use heat. I'll try that tomorrow
