CQ 2012 300 Race

Hi all,been watching for a while now thought I would join in.Picked up my new 300 race about 3 weeks ago ,man what a bike.I came of an 2011 EC 300.All changes are good for me between the two bikes.I am only 5'5 and dont find the height a problem.Standing up on the pegs feels way better on the 12.The forks and shock will require a bit off tuning but sofar I dont think I have been on a better feeling/responsive bike,ever.I am lucky that I have my own single track out the back of the house,plus a couple of single track loops on some friends property only 2klm away. So going for a ride is easy for me.Looking forward to reading all the set up tips and ride reports

I'm up in Cairns but my folks live in Mackay. Wouldn't mind doing a bit of a trip down with the bike when I get some holidays and seeing whats around their area and maybe anything along the way too.

No time frames for me at this stage but sounds like a plan in progress. I like the comparison between the 2011 and 2012. Makes me want one again! I dont think it'll happen for a while now though. Heh

Thats good as the gasgas dealer i use is in nsw. Only because they to are not pricks and give a 10% discount on all things i buy. But in saying that their shop is for sale so i may jump to them instead. Closer too.
