Cutch Bearing

I have noticed a rumbling noise from my clutch (05 EC300) which gets better when I pull the clutch in, I am guessing that the bearing is on it's way out and want to know how hard it will be to change....

If you're talking about the throwout bearing (little dime size bearing) it is easy BUT if noise goes away with clutch PULLED that bearing is at max load with clutch pulled, noise should be worse so it's probably something else

i have the exact same thing, maybe it's the bearing of the clutch basket then?
(mine can be moved slightly) rubbers inside have been changed allready.

hannes.

Same same with my 2010. Bit of noise with the clutch disengaged. All good when its pulled. I'd say if anything its probably the clutch basket not being completely balanced.

Glad to hear its normal , My 08 doesn't do it ,but my 2011 does .

the 11 also feels like something shifts (almost like the motor moves alittle) when its under a heavy load. Just noticed these things ,only about 18 hours 0n bike.

I did replace my roller bearings that spin the clutch basket on my 03. It quietened things down a bit.
