I have to admit, the thought of a bike with a FI Wr450 motor and the handling of a GasGas, that is street legal, is giving me the fever.

The Yamaha 450 motor's power is really nice, plus durable and versatile.

It will probably be $10 grand though. That is going to be a tough sell on the wife....

Thanks for the idea!! never thought of selling the wife before! I wonder if I'll get enough for even a used GG??

Although the main function was to test the bike race, Marc Guasch demonstrated a great pace from the start and was third in the prologue on Friday. However, was conditioned by a five minutes penalty as advance the check arrival that made him drop to eighth place in the second stage. Guasch, which was becoming more comfortable on the bike being developed with the technical team of Gas Gas, was fighting until the end to get the podium but eventually had to settle for fourth place overall and second on 450cc category.

Finally, good results and great feelings for the draft raids in which Gas is progressing steadily with the spotlight placed on the next edition of the Dakar Rally.

MARC GUASCH

"This race has helped us to collect information for further work on the Dakar bike. The test debut in a raid has been very positive and has caused a good impression. We have not had any mechanical problems and it's very important that the bike is reliable to be effective and competitive for the Dakar."
