Grizzlies only go after hikers, birdwatchers and treehuggers. They leave dirtbikers alone.

Would still consider packing some 'protection'.
But I guess you don't have to be fast to out ride a cougar,just faster than your riding buddy?

Where is this? Pacific Northwest somewhere? That place is beautiful. The bike sounds great and a nice bit of riding too!
