Does ktm front axle works on gasser 2008?

Just bought a original nut axle because my other broke when fixed my flat tire and what i noticed is the nut isnt fitting wich is weird i bought a 2007+ nut for front axle . My bike is a 2008 ec300. Cant ride it didnt rode in 3 weeks… im wodnering if any front acle would work from ktm or other bike brand. And if not. Where i could get a front original axle for a ec300 2008 in europe.
i dont know what to do any tips would help me much. Thanks!

Has it had a fork transplant perhaps? If not black plated stanchions then not Marzocci original (luckily).

I don't know.

Just to be sure:

• does your axle and nut look like the ones in the links from Motocrosscenter (in my post above) ?
• Is the axle of the same length (22.2cm)?
• is it 25mm diameter on the long part?
• Are the threads in the axle OK?

If so, I cannot understand why it should not fit, if it did fit before you took it apart.

My axle nut is the one that you sent me in the link .
Yes the axle is the same lenght
And yes it is 25mm diameter
No some threads in the axle are broken like the first 3 have small holes in them like potholes

Sounds like crossthreading to me. If you are able to clean those threads (e.g. using a thread file) I guess it will be OK again.
