Ec 125 - 03 dies at wot

Sounds like ignition related issue.
Maybe a weak ignition coil. Some spark plug caps have a resistor in them that can go bad.
Also check the ground connection at the coil. Most likely it is grounded thru the bolts fixing it to the frame. On my 06 200, the frame had rusted there, resulting in a bad connection. It tok me weeks and lots of money (bought a new ignition system) to find it :-(

Ja, koselig med naboer.
The symptom was that it would run ok on low RPM, but would start misfiring at higher. I believed it was carb related, it behaved just like the main jet was way too large or the air filter was clogged. Fortunately, I had access to spare parts (two sons with Gasgas bikes) so I started swapping parts. When I swapped the ignition, it became better. Ergo did I buy a new ignition (stator and flywheel). Mounted the new one, but problem persisted. Then I found the bad grounding... Since then, no such problems.

Tonight I've tried my friends Suzuki 125 that's in my garage... it acts exactly the same.... Is this the way a 125 is supposed to be?? I dont like it...

So whats next? It should be an adjustment related problem tho its the same thing on both bikes?

I know a 125 is slow at low rpm but I'm pretty sure it's supposed to continue to move forward (but slow and tired) at full open throttle... not go buhuhuuu and die

Now ive tried pj55. It went better! Not perfect but better...

But now it fouls the plug!!!!!
Im getting so tired of this...
