Hi, i am a newbie on this forum and looking for some advice on my first ever bike. I bought a 1999 ec250 endoro with a few problems. Ignition stator broke, play in crank shaft, a was wondering if it is an easy job to do bearings myself and is it costly for bits. Need a cheap as possible repair or bike has to go wife says lol.

Welcome to the forums.

You will have to split the cases to replace the bearings.
If that is something you feel comfortable doing, go for it.

Ok, think i might have a go myself, do you know if the flywheel puller i need to get will be a left hand or right hand thread. And if i split the cases is it easy to align all the other gearing and shafts anything to watch out for. Thanks

Left hand. Same puller as a YZ250.

Read this thread, will answer most of your questions.

Get a seal kit, gasket kit and bearings from a local supplier.

Organize and label your hardware as you disassemble. I have a fleet of small resealable containers that are invaluable for things like this.

Keep a parts manual handy, you will need it to reference assembly.

I'm somewhere over halfway done doing mine. I'm fairly mechanically inclined but have never done this procedure before. Not too bad so far.
