Hi, just sold my old MC125 and looking at a EC300 roadlegal.

Bike is cheap, but got a faulty shock front. Prev. Owner said it was "part nr BE250514116", but cannot find anything about it.

Anyhow, how is these Gassers and forks interchangeble with other brands?
Or does someone know where to get the faulty part?

looking at SM it for road and sometimes enduro.

Thanks, S

Picture of forks.

Nobody knows if any forks are interchangeble?

I mean, could i just buy a Sachs 50mm with triple clamps and mount it? 48 WPs?

Any other forks that may fit? CRF250s, 450s, KXFs, SXFs WPs?

Can't tell much from the picture. What size/make forks are on there now? How much do you want to spend? What resources do you have available? Have you read up on the KYB conversion threads?

Its 45mm forks, standards in 2007. Do not know the make or modell.
Im driving up some miles to get the bike. Ive already paid for it, but due to school, I dont have the time to drive get it yet.

Cheapest possible, but for the best option. A part in the fork-leg is broken, and its a 300 dollars piece, so im just looking for a replace instead.

Either try and pick up another set of 45mm Zokes from someone who's done the conversion to KYB SSS 48mms, or save a few more dollars yourself and look for a complete Yamaha front end to bolt up. I imagine the first option will be the cheaper, but may still set you back more than the part.

Do you know exactly whats damaged?

Ive just bought it due to very low price, havent seen it in real life, but this is my third Gasser, and I know its though bikes.

What Yamaha front end fits? Just the forks, or tripple clamps + wheel? Year, modell? I live in a MX-town, so its pretty easy to get hold of.

The part that are broken are part nr "BE250514116", as the seller said. I cant seem to find it anywhere, so prob. its BS.

Its a 07, clutch are bad, piston time is unknown, plastic is bad. Its roadlegal.
Im getting it at a price that is the same as a 2004 CR125, so thats the reason im buying :) If I cant get the part, or Yam front end, I can always scout the forum : )

Use the search engine. Do some reading re KYB. I'll leave that in your capable hands.

My suggestion would be wait till you take ownership. Pull the forks down, and inspect the level of damage, then make a decision based on what you find.

Also, the part number is the actual damping shaft. You won't know what kind of damage until you inspect.

Does anyone know if Marzocchi Shiver 45mm forks from other bike fits?

I mean, Husaberg/Husqvarna and so on uses 45mm Marzocchi Shiver forks, there are some nearby that I can buy..

Only need 1 fork..

The axle clamp may be different from those bikes, but if you are mechanically savvy you can change them out....
