EC300 Cylinder Head

Hi,
I'm in process of converting my 2005 EC250 into a 300. I have the jug, piston kit, gaskets and now I'm waiting for the head. Looking on the parts list I've found that the head was the same from 00 to 04 (ME200216000) but was changed for the 05 and 06 (ME300016000).
Anybody knows the difference between these two part numbers ??? Are they interchangeable ???
Thanks !

The 2003 head used allen head bolts and the recesses in the head that the allen head bolts go into are smaller than the one on the 2005 and up heads. You can put the head off a 2005 on a 2003 but not the other way around without changing the head bolts. It apears that the chamber volumes are the same or at least close. on your part numbers it is my understanding that the numbers that start with me200 are for the 200 and the numbers that start with me300 are for the 300.

Thank you Adrian. I've talked to the guy responsible for spare parts at our Gas Gas importer and the problem is that they have two heads on hand, but they are not identified (part number is missing and the guy was recently hired to manage the stock...).
They think one is for the TXT and the other to the EC, but they don't know how to identify them (they are asking to Gas Gas headquarter).
Any tip on how to check which is the head of a 300 EC ?

The TXT head has holes for 6mm bolts and the EC head has holes for 8mm bolts. FYI, I am using a 2002 RB designs modified head on my '05 300. I just had to use the allen head bolts from the '02 bike I swapped with.
