engine swap

hello everybody

i ve got a bit of a strange question
does a 250 mc 2000 engine fit in a
125 ec 2003 chassis
its getting more and more difficult to get parts for the
older bikes over here
now im able to buy a almost brandnew 125 2003 chassis
i just dont know if the engine mounts are the same
any help would be great

I dont know about the engine swap but the 250 300 are all the same from 2000-2005 with small small insignificant changes even the 200 is the same (the top end and crank being different). Just off the top of my head the swingarm pivot bolt changed in 03 (larger) the allballs kit comes with both races. Axle sizes changed the rear break master changed to the newer one with the resistor on it. The sub frame changed a bit but not much I have a 99 steel one on my 03.

I would think the motor mounts will be different but idk for sure

Cut the lower frame tubes off the 250 frame and weld them to the 125 frame.

The 125 engine and frame are different from the big bikes where the engine mounts but most of the rest of the parts are the same with the bigger bikes.
