Engine VIN numbers/year?

I have a 2015 Christini AWD with the 300 gasgas engine in it.
How can I tell what year the engine is?
I'm assuming a 2014 or 2015?
It has e start.
If it is an 14 or 15, does it have the water pump impeller clearance problems or did they ever fix that correctly?
Haven't pulled my cover to look yet.
I will try to find the engine VIN and post it up tomorrow.
