fixable?

Perhaps you can take it off and take it to your local engineering shop and get them to knock one up for you, You can choose what they make it out of if you want it stronger too. Prob be cheap for a oem one anyway.

are they hard to change? or do i need to strip the whole thing down? roughly how much is a clevis?

It threads on to the shock shaft. I don't know if you need to release the NO2 charge or not.
I had to buy on many moons ago and don't remember the price.

You can replace it without pulling the whole shock shaft. I have one here that I bought a while back which haven't replaced yet. It was approx $60usd from memory for the new clevis. The clevis threads into the shaft. You will need a shock shaft holder and will need to apply heat to break the locktite without too much to melt the rebound adjuster knob.

The one I have here has 1283-35 on the package. Had to be sourced from Ohlins and was a 2 week wait I believe. I purchased mine through afterhourcycles. Thanks Steve! :D

Also looking at the one here, its easily visible that the whole clevis threads onto the actual shock shaft itself so to remove you need to hold the shock shaft without damaging it.

You need to buy it from an Ohlins dealer. Call Drew Smith at Works Enduro Rider, he can get you one but it takes a couple of weeks b/c it comes from Sweden. Jackobi is right, you don't have to disassemble the shock and it costs around $50.00 dollars.

sorry forgot to mention im not in the USA but in the UK

was really hoping that i didnt need to have its stripped down as it only just been service few days ago & hasnt even been back on the bike

They didn't notice the broken Clevis when servicing it? :p

Ohlins UK should still be able to source you a new clevis and mail it out. Odds are it'll be the same story. 2 weeks from Sweden.

didnt notice it till i went to pick it up but i know if he damaged it he would have told me as i know him very well

For sure, super easy. Any Ohlins dealer can order one for you- and most likely help you change it. You'll need the part number on the shock- and they can order the correct clevis for you. It does not need need to be rebuilt to change the clevis- but fresh oil is always a good thing.
