FMF Mufflers, Which one

I don't recall saying your making this up? My statement was just that, a statement of my opinion which is what forums are all about! I've also ridden alot of bikes with many different set-ups and there all very different and open to interpretation on how one precieves power( just as suspension).

I like the good old TC2 its smaller and tucks in better than the stealth so its less exposed to damage. Its also shorter which equals less leverage on the sub frame in a crash so the frame mounts stay intact.
Its plenty quiet for the racing and public trail riding I do. It regularly blows a 91DB. The noise out of my bikes have been greater coming from the general engine area not the muffler. The power is great throughout the range and its a got simple style that is easy to care for. Its also cheaper to buy or replace. I want them to come equipped with spark arresters as I need it for public riding here in Washington. You know the Evergreen State, Keep Washington Green and all that jazz.

Don't get me wrong I like bikes as quiet as they can be, but for what I do the TC2 whispers compared to the majority of barking exhaust systems out there.

+1 on the protection aspect, i had the side beat up on my stealth in 2 rides, not protected well at all. my only complaint really

Exactly what Roscoe said. I sold my Stealth and run either my TC2 if I need an SA, or the nice OEM silencer that Roost describes.
