Footpegs

I have to replace the pegs on my bike. I hammered one silly on my ride yesterday. I'm new to GG so I'm still learning and apologize if this has been covered. Is it true that I can run any peg that's compatible with a Yamaha YZ?

i have YZ pegs on my 2000 model ec300.... they do fit but the right side peg fouls the rear brake when folded back so some grinding will need to be done to the corner of the peg

I like the IMS Pro Pegs myself, like the rounded pegs over the squared off pegs.

You didn't mention what year of bike you've got. Unless it's a '12 or '13 you will end up needing to relieve the right peg's rearward inboard corner to give clearance to the brake pedal. Otherwise a good hit to the peg is apt to either break the pedal or bend the mounting bracket. Fastway F3s have enough meat on them to allow for some creative grinder action.

I vote for Pivot Pegs. Once you get used to them they are awsome. Plus they are made specifically for Gassers, no modifying.

Foot pegs

Another vote here for pivot pegs, especially if you are older and your ankles are a bit wonky. (Mine are too much rugby). It only takes a ride to get used to them. Super strong as well. I bent the stockers and broke two sets of fast way pegs.
They're holding up really well

Fastway all the way

Fastway pegs first add on i do, love the footprint size, replaceable cleats, and height adjustment (I'm tall). The stainless ones are very tough, I wack them all the time. I think the footprint size or shape make standing for long periods less fatiguing, and better control. IMO.
