Future GasGas 4 stroke?

I'd be much happier buying an electric powered GG enduro with KYB suspension.

If an electric GG had a quick change battery and the same range as the Alta does now, I'd be fine with a battery swap mid-day. I have no problem being an early adopter. It would be nice if something was available soon. I'll be 70 in four more years, who knows how long I'll be able to keep hammering through single track.

It could be done with tapered posts like you see on some older welding machines. They would need to be heavily sprung or bolted tight. Fork truck batteries deliver similar currents and have inline cable connectors.

True.

Until someone leaves the terminals loose.
There are also cooling lines that will need the quick connects also.
All do-able with the right engineering.

We have hybrid Land Rovers here. They make a huge deal about swapping batteries. Vehicle has to be roped off and only certified techs can come within 10'.

Since this started as a four stroke topic, I just remembered the only thing I like about four strokes.

A hot headpipe will cook a mixture of leaves and mud; it smells wonderful in the fall. Reminiscent of burning leaves in the yard.
