Hello to all of you on this site I just got my first gas gas ever after riding blue most of my life and I'm excited to learn what these bikes are all about the bike I got is an 06 ec200 with the 2011 conversion it also has so I'm told a cr250 clutch conversion and some other misc... goodies on it I'm sure I will have many questions for all of you on this site as like I said I'm totally new to gas gas but so far I like it in advance I would like to thank you at this site for all of the info as I have already used the info to find parts and how to's . thanks again

Great bike my first Gasgas endure was an 05 200 now it is my parts bike for my other 11 200 and common parts like wheels for my 300 . Great bikes and great site good luck with your new ride !

Congrats on the 200! I switched from an orange 300 to my '11 EC200 and it's been the perfect bike for me :D

Post up some pics when you get a chance...bike doesn't exist until there are shots of her on here...lol.

Lots of great info on jetting if you need to get that sorted, I'd also recommend the head mod if it hasn't been done already - did that to both our 200s and it made a big difference in jetting ease as well as fuel economy.

Congrats again :D

here is a pic of my 06 ec200View attachment 5248

Wow...she looks really clean

Curious about the FMF Gnarly (I think?) on her, thought FMF only made 200 specific pipes up through '05. Do you know if that's a 200 specific pipe, or the 250/300 pipe they offer?

She looks to be in great shape, like the red shrouds and white fenders combo :D

Sorry to tell you I have no idea about the pipe or what works on what I could ask the guy I bought it from for you I was told it had the head mod already and also has a cr250 clutch conversion since I'm on here could someone tell me if I'm right in saying this thing has a set of 45mm marzocchi forks that's the only thing it needs (fork seals) one side is seeping a little everything else seams good and tight the prev owner gave me receipts on a very recent rebuild top end only although I would like to replace the wheel bearings also if I can find out where to buy them lol there not loose I've just found that its easier to change before the get bad thanks for any info

Not sure about the forks, post that picture in the suspension sub-forum and I bet one of the more experienced guys could tell you which version you have (might need a bit more info about what the fork caps look like, etc).

As far as wheel bearings, you can source those from Pivot Works: http://www.pivotworks.com. All Balls also has bearing kits (currently have those in my linkage), but the feedback I read through here is the Pivot Works are a better product.

There's some info in this thread on the swingarm and linkage bearings, as well as the wheel bearings: http://www.gasgasrider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=18927

I might send the FMF folks another email and see what they have to say about a pipe. Mine's holding up decently right now, though I'd like to have another on hand for when I take that rock...lol

I'm a previous owner of that bike, the people I sold it to may have told you some lies, the bike does not have a head mod, the squish is 1.6mm currently with a .30 base gasket
