Just happened across XGames on ESPN, and what do I notice, in the women's class Laia Sanz riding a GasGas XC250F getting the gold medal. Also saw a Gasser in the mens race as well.

Honorable mention as well, DirtRider has a decent review of Gasser 2013 XC250 in most recent issue as well.

Watched it also and what a race in both men & women class.

The world enduro champ Laia Sanz rode her Gasgas 4 banger to victory passing one of the best if not the undisputed USA's best womens woods racer Maria Forsberg. Maria had a tough run down the rocks and never recovered. I think she was making up time in the end, but hard to judge.

The men saw Cody Webb on his Gasgas 2 smoke leading the race several times throughout before loosing grip of the rear tire in a couple slick turns. He also was on the come back late in the race for the lead.

One thing I noticed is the guys calling the race were always throwing out this person on the KTM or that person on the KTM blabla and would never say a Gasgas is in the lead or Cody Webb on his Gasgas is smoking fast, etc etc like they did with the other "name" brands.
They even mentioned the "Christeen" bike more than the gassers and the "Christeen" was mid pack at best....lol.
No respect from the guys calling the race, but no one can deny the results.
Gasser 1st place women
Gasser 2nd place mens in a packed field

Oh, yeh...

they interviewed Laia Sanz and said to her that she must be stoked that the next Xgames is in her home Country and will she defend her Gold.
Laia said, it is sorry that I wont make the next Xgames because it is on the same date as my world enduro round.
I'm on her fan band wagon now...whoot whoot

FYI... Cody Webb rides a Beta, not a GasGas...

Gosh darn it looked like a gasser...lol. No wonder they never said the name.
Well, I am very impressed on his finish.

Was there a Gasser in the mens?
