Government Trouble. Is this where we are headed?

You folks best learn what RMB stands for, because that is what you may be trading one day.:D

The debt will eventually be called in, then what, as our biggest partner and ally, it is concerning to see the US economy continue with the debt path. Not sure what the solution is, the things that Obama is trying to do (like Obamacare) probably makes sense to every Brit, Aussie, Kiwi and Canadian on this forum as its the norm in most of the civilized world.

There are lots of things I don't understand about the US but I do know most Americans I meet are SUPER nice folks. Until we get to talking about guns, god and politics, then all bets are off.

You asked what i think. I think i want to hear about gasgas motorcycles. Not politics or religion. Thanks. But that crap seems to belong on facebook.
 
Just guys talking in "general discussion" I don't see any problem with that. If you don't want to be part of the discussion then stick to the threads your interested in simple as that.

I'm not going to argue, you put in your two cents I'll put in mine! And as a side note I'll decide what is general discussion to me thank you very much not you.

Funny you said this ernie because I was having this exact same conversation with an aunt from D.C on Wednesday and she's as worried as we are. Definetely agree it affects us all and is quite alarming in my eyes as well.
 
Regardless of what anyone thinks, with over 200 Trillion of total debt and unfunded liabilities, the US is screwed,....Period.
At this point, it's just a bunch of selfish, cowardly & stupid politicians arguing about deck chairs on the Titanic......

Average Americans should seriously start studying the Weimar Republic, Argentina and Zimbabwe to see what lies in their near future. Then prepare accordingly.
 
It may or may not belong here but a majority of what the guy says is true. You can bury your head and hope it will go away but it will not.
 
Never said bury your head. Its a gasgas forum. Not political, religious, sheep hearder, animal sex or taxidermy forum. Please, use some logic here. Take the politics to a political forum. I'm done.
 
As long as the $ printer ramains in your hands, and you continue to have enough military power, as you currently you do, my bet is you US guys are safe :D

I mean, this debt thing has been going for something like 40 year or so, AFAIK. Why stop now?
 
OK, let's turn it into a GG discussion;

Start lobbying to get the Government to increase debt with Spain and supply FREE GG's for all its citizens. Now if anything was a worthy cause, surely on a GG forum that would be....
 
Remember, in a dictatorship, you ride at the pleasure of the government. I am not going to take any sides, but riding is not a-political, politics is very important to our rights and ability to ride and pay for the fuel and even the right to earn the money to buy our bikes. If you love the freedom to ride, the sand is no place to have your head right now if you are in the US.
