Help Identify fork springs?

Hi,

I am looking at fitting some heavier fork springs to my 2002 EC300, it is fitted with the WP 4357 USD fork. I have pulled a spring out to ID the spring rate and I can not see any marking, stamp, spring rate ?? Maybe I am not looking in the right place or perhaps I am blind?

Outside diameter = 38mm
Wire diameter = 4.75mm
Free length = 505mm

Any help would be apprecited.

Thanks for the reply, I am familiar with calculating spring rates, I just thought the rate would be marked on the spring?
