I'm fairly new to this forum but by reading some of the posts and threads theres alot of you out there that have a whealth of knowledge! I'm having trouble pinching tubes while changing tires. I thought I knew what I was doing but here lately I've been pinching 2 out of 3. I'm using the moose brand spoons with the red handles. Any tips or anything that may help me figure out what I'm doing wrong would be greatly appreciated. Maybe theres a link to a video showing a detailed tire change that somebody knows of that they could post. Thanks

I don't run tubes anymore. I use the Bib Mousse.

In the past when I used tubes, I would always inflate the tube slightly before installing it. That way the tire tool has less a chance of pinching the tube.

Make sure the tire opposite from the irons is in the drop center portion of the wheel and dont lever the spoons past straight up vertical. Also be generous with soapy water to help tire slide on.

The Bibs are around $120 each.
With OffRoadChampions tire changer, I can replace a Bib quicker than a tube.
If you keep them lubed up, they will last a long time. I do mine once every couple months or so.
I've had mine for over 9 months and they still look new.

I've been using them for a few years now, never looked back. I regrease mine when I change tyres as my tyres don't last long.
