Hello
firstly I have never had any involvement with doing anything woth forks so go easy on me!

Last week during a race I somehow managed to loose both fork bleeders spilling oil everywhere. My question Is. Have I lost the complete bleeder or have I somehow managed to only loose part of it as im worried it looks like there is still some of it left In the hole? If this is the case I guess I will have to drill it out?

any help appreciated

Its only a really fine thread in them, and from the pictures it appears to me that you've snapped them off.

You'll need to pull the forks and remove the caps and then have a crack at extracting them. They shouldn't be overly tight. Worst case you may need to tap them out a size or two larger. Personally I avoid the speed bleeders for this reason.

Thank you thought that was the case.
am I right in thinking the cap should just come off with a 19mm socket?
I suppose while ive got them off I might as well service them. Is it just a case of new bushings and seals for this and give everything a good check? Is it as simple as that or is it one for a garage?
Are there any special tools needed to service them

thanks again
si

I had a fork that was shipped to me with the bleeder still in it and surprise it brock just get a small easy out and it will come right out.

No special tools needed for WP

Awesome will get an easy out and give it a go. Mine are marzocchi's not wp.

I think rather than worry about seals etc for bow i will learn how to fill oil correctly and put it all back together as money is tight right now.
Seems a few different ideas of how to fill oil.

Didnt even need an easy out in the end! Just came out with a small screw driver

now got to figure out fiing up with oil. 1 step cant seem to undo the cap from the spring
