How much tranny fluid in a 03 EC250?

Well the PO had 1400cc in this thing....pretty sure that is way too much...dont wanna do the sight glass deal for the first time....

How much oil goes in this?

What do you guys use?

and the clutch plates were stuck together....no grooves in the basket....

I think off hand it is right between 900-1000ml...just shy of a qt.

That is a loaded question, which oil do you guys run??? Prepare yourself a millon different answers.

I use Motul 2 stroke tranny oil. I have also used Spectrol 2 stroke tranny 85w as well. Both with great results...... no AFT in my 200!

i put in 32 ounces (950ml) of 0w-40 amsoil. works fine for me.

Sounds good...wonder what having 400cc extra would do? could it mak it drag more?

ya...i understand about the oil deal...everyone likes something different...I like Motul Trans oil....but I was more talking about something strange likemaybe ATF, Rotella etc...thanks guys....

Same here. Manual calls for 900cc for a refill.

strange, my 2003 ec250 manual says 1000cc
