I need some seat options. USA.

Hmm, i guess Im just going to stick with the stock design until I have issues, pretty sure it has a captive fastener in the seat instead of just threading into the plastic. Its lasted a full season without falling off....never even been loose when I've checked it. I do tighten it pretty damn tight. Maybe I'm just lucky? I've actually had the seat on my 07 come loose more than the 2012. I'm not worried about the mud reallly just didnt understand the fix to a problem I didnt realize existed. I know KTM's had the same design for awhile?

The fastener in the seat points in different directions in '12 and '13. Here's the short form on how to make a '12 seat attach like a '13 (ie top down fastener).

* sharpen the point of a screw the same thread (but longer) than the stock seat bolt
* drive the screw up through the seat foam until it stretches the seat cover
* carefully poke the tip through the seat cover, then remove the screw
* flatten the tip of the long screw or grab a replacement
* insert the screw through a large fender washer and then through the seat cover and into the seat base
* install the seat and add a lock nut on the bottom
* admire your handiwork

Ok - So I could not find this post.....Thanks Steve..... ;-)
So this is how I modified my 2012.
I bought a Metric (M6) special fastener at HomeDepot. Heated it up with heat gun and even the plastic back fender. Pressed it into the black plastic. Let it cool and then finished it off with some JB Weld.
Then used GG top seat mount I purchased from motocrosscenter.com......And tada!!!!
