Is there a 220 kit for a 200 ?

When I bought my 2000 XC300 I was coming off a 88 Husky XC500. I wanted the better suspension and woods handling of the GG. I did a fair amount of riding in high altitude in Colorado and it really showed the power difference. I am 6'4" 240lbs so a I notice a few extra ponies a little easier. Compared to my son's 2004 DE300, the 327 has more torque down low and through the midrange kind of like the proverbial 3 stroke ;-). The 327 still has good top end but the 300 seems to have a little bit more over-rev. Just this spring I was changing pistons and I did a crank check. While the original crank bearings did not have slop they did not sound as smooth as I thought they should. I think that after 16 years of use with 12 years of big bore fun the bottom end of the engine held up great!

So I would say that this thread is real helpful for sure . Thanks to everyone who contributed , so I have decided to use www.powersealusa.com to clean Nikaseal plate and get my cylinder perfect . Then off it goes to Lenny at www.tsicompetitionengines.com who will pull the bottom end apart and replace as needed any parts . It is going to stay a 200cc bike and if I feel It needs a little more power I will get a 250cc bike . It is after all a Buddy bike .
