Not sure where this belongs so Jeff you can move it if it needs to be moved:

Saturday, January 1, 2011 ? 12:00pm - 7:00pm
Location: Wildcat Ranch - Decatur, Arkansas
More Info: A team race held on New Years Day at the Wildcat Ranch in Northwest Arkansas. Three hours of the best trails in Arkansas with a teammate that was randomly drawn before the race. All riders divided into two groups by skill level and one from each group per team.

National style start, escargo, endurocross, tight, fast you'll ride it all at Almosta Race.

The top ten teams take home custom, one of a kind trophies that are never the same year to year.

All proceeds from the race go to Rider Down to support injured riders and their families. ALL PROCEEDS! Every dime spent by racers and spectators goes to help injured riders and their families. Make your checks payable to Rider Down and it is tax deductible.

The best singletrack trails in the country, and a chance to purchase exciting one of a kind custom, and autographed merchandise in a silent auction.

Camping-
There will be plenty of room to camp. You can come down the day before if you like. Also plenty of hotels in the area within 20 minutes of race site. Could drop off trailer and bikes and head back to the hotel. Always a fire pit social the night before and your all welcome. You can even stay after the race and ride the next day if you like. Camping is primitive so bring a generator and fill your tanks

Google Earth view of the course

Also if you guys would like, we have a Facebook page and you can find it by searching Facebook "Almosta Race" Please comment or 'like' it and forward it to your other Facebook friends. This is the 10th year that Mary has done the race and we want it to be a big one. We also have trophies for Holeshot (last years winner was on a GasGas), Hard Luck (last years winner was on a '09 GasGas-hit a tree and mashed pipe & radiator on the first lap), & a travelling trophy for farthest traveled-(it just came home from Minnesota). This property has been the site of OMA & Arkansas Harescrambles state series races in the past & one of the OMA's was featured in an issue of Dirt Bike magazine. We have hopes of making a trail video and I will try to post it up.
Rider Down is a great organization and exists only to help riders get back on their feet after injuries, check them out at www.riderdown.org

Hey guys (& gals), This is Katelyn Sizemore. She started racing the Almosta Race on Jan. 1st 2006 at the age of 12. She got the 9th place trophy. She missed '09 , but every other year she has trophies !!!! come out, support a great cause, and have a GREAT time. This is a great example of our 'homemade' trophies

Thanks to all who helped and rode in this year's Almosta Race. We had 62 riders for 31 teams, a little chilly as the day started out at 24* and the high only got to about 36* but it was a beautiful sunny day.
We raised $2617 for the RiderDown Foundation, which I'm sure Bruce will put to good use. If any of you know of a downed off road rider make sure you refer them to RiderDown to see if they can help.
Check out the Facebook page for the start video and pictures as they get loaded up. http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Almost ... 2846708216
Also check out http://www.yellowwood.us for some action shots as Mr Andrews was out in the woods making us all 'famous'
The travelling trophy went to Tony McGivern who came all the way from Chicago to ride the 'Almosta' after being absent since 2005 or 2006.
Kieth Sizemore and Hayden Judy, both from Arkansas got drawn together and set the pace but only won by 20 seconds after 3 hours of ripping the single track up. Oklahoma rider Brady Meador took the holeshot award with, as he put it, "570 ccs, electric start and 275 pounds of traction".
Among the first time 'Almosta' participants were Tim & Stacey Bertsch, from the Hillbilly GP series in Missouri, who stayed on Saturday night to sample the trails again on Sunday, they said "we'll be back next year"
This year's HardLuck trophy went to Joe Renfro who signed in from Mississippi as a get off in the early laps handed him a possibly dislocated shoulder, he did stay for the trophy presentation and ate his share of the chili, we hear that he is doing well at this time
The 'BorderWar' trophy gets another star for the "Arkies" as they led the trophy count 16-4 over the "Okies", there were riders from Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, and Mississppi but they & their partners were unable to crack the trophy line- this time.

Stay tuned and watch the Facebook page as we get ready for the 11th Annual Almosta Race on 1-1-2012. Ride safe and most of all, Have fun doing it.
