"We got Bikes" threads are popping up like dandelions on a spring lawn around here!! Somebody has been putting in the hours. Now that it appears we have somebody that knows how to get the stuff over here, I hope the consumer demand is there so the brand can reach the critical mass necessary really make an impact. Good job so far Clay, hope the buyers come through for you and all the new dealers! Its nice to see someone "workin' it!!"

Yeah....

But I still have to go 3-4 hours North to go see one!
Scott at Moto Connection seems like a really nice guy.... just gotta get up there.

I just placed my first parts order through moto connection. Scott was great to deal with. Super nice guy.

He took the time to look at microfiches with me...

He logged into this site and reviewed some threads and pictures I had found of the problem I was having, all while we were talking.

He offered direction and suggestions on the parts I was getting

He followed up about 30 minutes after the call to let me know everything was on order because he had to put a big list of parts and parts numbers together.

He called the next day with a tracking number and delivery information

The best part is he likes talking bikes and will take the time to do it.

Gas Gas Unlimited is in Meriden, CT and Gabriel Racing is in Worcester, MA. Are those dealers closer to you?
GG Unlimited has bikes in stock. Gabriel just gave me an order and will have bikes released to them later this month.
I know these dealers are in another state but the states in NE are about as big as a county in a real state like TN, right? :)
Please forgive me for being a smartass! I've been drinking beer all afternoon!

Gabriel didn't have any bikes in stock because they were so hard to get. They have them on order now and will get some from the next shipment due in late October.

Yeah....

I'm not real clear on that Worcester place...... are they a dealer? Gabriels?
Somebody said they just did GG quads...... I don't know.
I'm looking to support a legit dealer and a place that I can utilize for advice, parts, etc- probably not service as I'll be a ways a way, but I want to develop a relationship.
Jeez, talk about "post-crossing"! OK, I see them now- they must have just been added. That's pretty close to me :)

The Gabriel Racing Dealer is curious to me (I'm an hour tops from them) and I'm surprised they ordered new bikes to be honest. From their web site it appears they are heavily into ATV's, snowmobiles and accessories. When they first became a GG dealer I had never heard of them in the New England off road scene. I dropped them a nice email urging them to introduce themselves to this site and NEDB, our New England dirt bike forum. I also suggested they get involved in the local enduro/HS racing scene and perhaps support a rider on a GG. NEVER heard a peep from them and have never ever seen any response on any forum from anyone from Gabriel Racing or anyone even mention them and no adds in Trail Rider magazine. Just seems really strange to me how you expect to sell bikes and promote the brand when you're basically invisible to the local off road scene. I do think it was the GG quads they really wanted and the bikes were just fluff. No quads coming in anymore I'm betting. Anyway, GG Unlimited, Dirt World and Moto Connection at least support the local NE scene and are a safe bet for bikes and parts.

I believe there were a lot of dealers who were unsure if they would continue to remain a Gas Gas dealer. If you aren't sure about your future with a brand you're not going to spend money and time to promote that brand. Since Justin has given me an order, I am sure he is committed to the brand and will become more involved in the NE offroad scene. He told me that he had gotten more phone calls regarding Gas Gas in the last few weeks than he had in the last couple of years so he is more excited about the brand. That is why he decided to order bikes from us. So...give him a call and see if you can buy a bike or parts.

NE Dealers

Skidad, Looks like you have plenty of stocking dealers to choose from up there, so which new model Gas Gas are you buying?

+2 for Dirt World.
Ron will go the distance for you
and he's been hanging with the brand even in the thin years
and his prices are good!!
