keihin carbs

Kind of confused, the carb on the 09 to present gasgas, most are calling it a PWK 36 or 38. The carb on my 09 300ec looks like a PWM 38, it has a metal cap verses a black plastic cap. Is that correct?

Airstriker II looks more like the PWM than the older PWK on the Keihin site.
