KTM & Bobbitt

Man not sure if it is true or false but I just read where KTM dropped Bobbitt. Man this blows if it is true. He is such a good guy. Very easy to talk to and just all around friendly.

Anybody know if this is true or false?

Didn't he ride GGs coming up the ranks? I seem to remember he was one of a few real fast guys from down south on GGs in the old days. KTM threw $$ at him like Jake Korn in NETRA, if you can't beat 'em, buy 'em.

Yup they sure did. Hopefully in a few years, the shoe will be on the other foot. I wish I was rich!!! hehe "What don't kill you only makes you stronger"

I can attest to that. I was leaving the Rhody enduro a few years ago and was driving by Bobbit and Kanney. Bobbit looked at me and waved as I drove by. I thought that was so cool that he was so down to earth and obviously a really nice guy. For what it is worth, regardless of what he rides, I a fan.

Yep, got dumped I guess so they could throw the cash at Mullins after he smashed the pumpkins in the nationals.

Yamaha and Mullins

Kinda shows that Yamaha could care less about having the National Enduro title, and KTM is willing to buy the #1 plate doesn't it?

Just heard news that we lost Jim Senecal as well. Too bad to see him go to KTM, but I can't blame him since I'm sure they made it worth his while.

Yep Jim is a great guy! Hated to see him go.:( But under the circumstances I don't blame him.

Thanks for the Championship!!!

Kinda reminds me of Suzuki shoving Randy Hawkins out the door after he won 6 titles for them.
Clay
Exactly! If I recall... Randy wrapped up that particular title at the last round in Delaware, then got the boot from Mike Webb the very next day. How was that for gratitude?

I guess you could ride anything if they pay you enough, but what would you ride if you had to pay your own tab? Thats the real testimony.
