KTM Sold Husky Engines to GasGas

I was really saddened to hear that Husqvarna was purchased by the Pumpkin Cult, but this news just about makes up for it. It would be cool if they got the frame technology too. The Huskies were really stabile at high speed and fit larger riders well.

TL;DR version is BMW sold Husky to KTM, who then merged them with Husaberg. So now Husqvarnas are blue and white KTMs, and Husaberg doesn't exist anymore.

Since KTM are using their engines in the new Husqvarnas, I guess they felt that selling the license for the 'old' BMW husky motors was worthwhile, and so GasGas has bought it from them.

oh dear that's a shame even tho I never owned I like them. don't like ktm tho there like ass holes everyone's got one lol
 
Like Beta using KTM's RFS 4T motors some five years ago.

I know a few folks who love the Husky 310 motor as long as it is retrofitted with the injector body with more holes.
 
If you can't make a Husky worth a damn.Then you sell it to the competitor you fear the most.If they are dumb enough to buy what you are selling.
