KYB swap which triple clamp?

Just took delivery of some 2010 yz250 KYB SSS. Measuring them compared to my gasgas,

Ec300
Top 54mm
Bottom 57mm

KYB SSS
Top 56mm
Bottom 59mm

So which triple clamps are people using for these? Looks to me like they each need 2mm from top and bottom... I know the yz clamps can fit with new bearings, but what gasgas triples are best?

I had my GG clamps machined, that way I can use the stock fender, headlight mounts and steering stop.

The YZ ones look a little mass produced but work well with blocks for stops welded to them. I painted black. Front guard I just redrilled. Headlight, well it just straps on on my 7.

I've ordered 2009 which are a little prettier. Do you know what size/part number bearings to order?

Ahh, yz top had a smaller od so I used that. Heck i had a thread but search on my tablet hasn't found it, have a look and it should cover it and what I fit for spacers and stops etc

I used a 320/28 bearing was only 6quid from local bearing shop, bottom one works as is :)
I have 2006 forks with 2010 YZ triple clamps

Yeah that kinda rang a bell but I'd thought it was NKs thread I'd hooked onto.
Think that has all the answers. I cheated and bought the braking caliper adapter.

A mate jumped on mine from his 10 last weekend and said the biggest thing he noticed were how much better my forks were.

I use the original gasgas tripple clamps. I machined the clamping diameter and it works fine since about 200 hours. I am doing not only woods ridding, I am also on the motocross track with my gasser

Yeah I'm gonna by the adaptor too. I made one for my SM, but 10mm actually seems more difficult lol!

Too late :p.

2010 forks fit 2009 yokes anyway. I read somewhere that they'd changed the upper diameter on the forks but haven't found the problem..

My only problem now seems to be the steering stop. I might weld one to the head stock as others have, but perhaps a little further up with an offset so I'm not welding where the bearing sits??
