LED Blinkers on US Spec 2014 EC300

In the process of adding blinkers to my US spec EC300. Since it's already got the switch/wiring for the signals, I bought some LED blinkers and plugged them in. All the blinkers turn on, but none of them blink.

After doing some research it appears I either have to replace the stock flasher relay with an LED flasher relay, or I need to add some resistors in series with the blinkers. I'd rather just replace the relay, but where on the bike is it? I checked the wiring diagram, and this is the closest thing I saw was labeled "Intermitents", which I circled on the attached image.

On researching this from other forum posts, I came across this thread:
http://www.gasgasrider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=23695
where someone states that the flasher relay is integrated into the left hand switch (for a 2018 bike).

So my question is, where's the flasher relay located on the 2014's? Has anybody switched to an LED relay? What's involved, or is it easier just to add some resistors in series to the blinkers I bought?

The flasher relay could be under the tank or in the air box.
There will be a connector but no relay installed.

Checked both areas, found nothing. Would you or someone else be able to provide a picture of the connector and/or the wire colors associated with it?

2014 GasGas indicator relay

Hi Kevin,

my 2014 also doesn?t have a relay for the indicators. I checked the whole wiring but I found nothing. I guess since the non e start bikes have a relay that the relay is integrated into the indicator switch on the left at your bars.
I tried to switch to leds on my 2014 but I haven?t gotten it to work. Maybe try to use blinkers with an integrated relay. I haven?t tried that but I wouldn?t know a reason why this shouldn?t work.
