Looking for forks

I own a 2010 gas gas ec 250. My 48 sachs are damaged in the left upper tube that cant be fixed. Im looking for marzocchi or kayaba mainly.

Hi, im from greece, not around the corner i know i found yesterday a pair of kyb sss localy but im not sure if they fit cause are from a crf. Either way thx for the response, hope to get more options before i buy

CRF forks should fit.
On my 2011 GG. I just swapped the entire YZ front end. Plug and play.

Thx again. I only gonna get the forks and hope with little mods will fit. I guess kyb aos would be easier but they sure harder to find...

I put a set of Yamaha YZ Kyb SSS on my 06 model. I used the Yamaha triple clamps, but kept the GG wheel. I had to turn some new bushings for the front axle (Yamaha uses a thinner axle) and make a 250mm brake disk. It would have been a little easier if I had used a Yamaha wheel, but as I have my own lathe etc (and have fun using it) I chose that route. it worked quite OK, and surely better than the old worn out 45mm Marzocchi forks.

But as you go from 48mm Sachs to 48mm KYB I guess the triple clamps are quite close when it comes to the diameter of the fork legs. The offset may be wrong (different), though.

So to sum up its either new kyb aos forks that cost 1350e, or used very clean kyb sss forks from a 2010 crf 450 that i can find on 500e. Crf had 240mm disc brake while i have a 260, so i guess is harder than a yzf that has 250mm. Then its the axle size etc. And ofcourse these ate used mx forks that at some point i have to revalve or even change springs as well. So the cost is increasing. Ive read 30 pages in this forum but still cant find that exact conversion, i meen from crf to my sacks gas gas. The thought is buy the used and when its time for service i revalve and see springs if i can trail ride with 450mx forks until then and not end up with a bike i cant ride until revalving. Amy thoughts? Thx again!
