I wanted to let people know I've found the Metzeler 6-day stock front tire.
My local dealer was able to locate this at Western Power Sports part #
872-7040 It's the exact tire (stock). Not sure why I like this one so much,
I just do.

What terrain and conditions do you ride that make you like this tire so much? I have heard good things about the front, and bad things about the rear. What does it do so well?

I ride in rocks and I hate the fronts but can live with the rear. We take the fronts off when the bike is new. I might have a couple here that are like new damn near.

If you have any like new fronts I'd be interested, shoot me a pm.

I have one that has about 15 hours on it. You can have it if you want to pay for the shipping. Otherwise its going in the dumpster

I'm not sure how the front works so well and the rear so poor?
I ride anything from pure sand, gravel, clay, roots, coal, Pa wet rocks with some dirt. The hard terrian compound sucks around here.
Bridgestone M 59 was my front tire of choice, these are slightly better and dot approved.

I also like the 6day metz front.as for the rear thought it looked big and heavy so changed it for a Pirelli.turns out the metz was lighter!
