Wow, that is some serious wear! I have years and years of racing the Japanese brands (125, 250 and 500's) and have never seen a basket start to come apart like that between the fins.

Is that "common" with Gassers?

I have around 200 hrs on this basket and 4 clutches. I must say the extent of the damage was likely increased due to my negligence after my last clutch blew. I didn't take the basket out to inspect it and then proceeded to blow another which had me tear it down. The damage was likely amplified after the second clutch was installed and blown

Hi guys anyone with the rekluse core manual tell me how the stack goes in? I thought the skinny .040 steel went in first then alternate with .060 plates 7 of them then end with a fibre for a total of 8 fibres. So am I right? I took the thing apart so long ago and can't remember and can't find the document on rekluse site any help would be great

Historically gassers have had about the most durable clutch out there - much better than the jap stuff imo but the last 4-5 years there has been different stock clutch baskets (maybe from different suppliers) and some have had issues.
