Since riding season is in full swing I thought it might be fun to post how much saddle time you guys are getting, I'm at 150 k a week of single track. So statements like, Ive been riding so much my bikes wheels look like saw blades or Ive been riding so much my hands look like beef jerky or Ive been riding so much my butt feels the guest groupies at a village people concert, sorry moderators could'nt resist. Keep it cheeky but clean and lets have some fun!

Well I have not been getting much seat time in over the last 2 months or so.

Today me and a friend of mine tried out this new place. My ass feels like it was scrubbed with a dried corn cob. Yes I have a severe case of the red ass!

So from here on out I am riding every weekend!

I just went on my first ride last weekend. Sad but true. At least I get out and ride when I can.

Well,, I've been surfing so much,, oh wait,, thats not right! Not out once and wont be till maybe Oct-Nov. if I'm lucky.. Hopefully I'll have time to take a run out to pick up a new 515 then,,,,

ive been riding so much that, oh wait a minute, its been raining for darn near three weeks, well, when im not at work anyway. clear as a bell when i have anywhere to be.
before that ive been riding every weekend since i got the bike.

sounds like I've got plenty of company ....
My bike is still top endless ... waiting for some rings
I've been out a few times on my trials bike tho!!

My season was short. Playing it safe I could be back in Sept, but the leaves soon fall and cover the rocks.

Mine has the rear shock and one fork off. Yes one. I stripped one! Yes one of the hex bolts.  Then it is off for a revalve while I replace the bearings. Could use a new clutch but I'll bleed the system first.

My riding has been limited only by = amounts of pain, laziness and fuel cost. My right hand is experiencing some pain, so brake funtion is becoming more and more important.

My season was short.

Season?? we don't need no stinkin season!

Come to Oz mate we ride all year round from 40c to -5c and snow!
Off for a good weekend I have a 50km single track on Thursday then an over night camp with about 150km single on the Saturday!!!
I will post some pics!

We ride as long as the ice is off the rocks, but early/mid fall deep leaves make it tough as well, if the trail is tight many times you can't even see it. The guys here up north in New England get a lot more snow that stays so its actually more consistant with spikes. Here its always changing snow, ice, mud, etc. in ab average winter.

Hey I'd love to go to Oz for a riding vacation. Awesome country for the sport, and everyone I've met from there were great people.

well just like wideglide ,ah i mean widebear i've been riding since march. i augered myself head fist into the dirt over a log jump warmin' up for a race in mid april.pulled, stretched, ripped and tore a bunch of stuff in my neck&,rt shoulder area. that one hurt, big time!! i took a couple weeks off and i'm just now getting back to regular pace of riding. but we get to ride at least one evening and a saturday/and or a sunday ride every week. so 2 or 3 hr's on wed nite and 4/5 hrs on a weekend can add up to a lot of saddle time over a season! some weeks we will double those #'s. but i did 60 km's today with a couple buddies on some pretty fast stuff mixed with tight single track and that took almost 3hr's.

I'm backing Rickster, even though us Aussies are a small contingent of Gassers we have awesome all year round riding...and loving it!!!!!:) But... we have had over 210mm of rain in 24hrs so my chances of getting monkey butt this week are slim:mad: Doh

I was out on Sat for the first time and we did some trail cleaning and a bit of riding. I was dead tired after, just a little too much for my first day out, expecially after my heart porcedure. Beautiful day though!

Shallow crossing

Well we had an awesome weekend at Shallow Crossing on the south coast of New South Wales!! 100 odd kms of the most pure single track I have ever seen!! Truly spectacular! It was my mates farewell ride as he is moving to far north Queensland to escape the cold but eneded up a farewell ride to his bike as his WR450 siezed 20 mins in!!! here's a few pics

I lived in Mooloolaba fo a couple of years

I went out yesterday for 70 k in the rain, both nipples bleeding profusely, feeling sexier than Fat bastard, Buddy crashed on a rock face , watched him moaning in the fetal position for ten minutes before carrying on.Good times!

rain the nite before
sunny/warm the next day
6 accomplished riders,loamy soil,great visibility
2 1/2 hour ride with very few stops
tight single track, mixed with some open connector trails
doing this on a wednesday nite after work
priceless!!
