Hi All,
Huskydude has graciously stepped forward to take on moderation duties on the forums. He has experience moderating on Cafe Husky, etc.

With this crowd the job is fairly easy. Ban spammers & moderate any threads that get heated, move threads to appropriate locations, etc.

As a reminder - it's okay to attack an idea, but it's not okay to attack a person. No grey areas here, so it's easy to determine when someone crosses the line if blood pressures rise - which doesn't happen often. In ten years of running this forum and the smackover "talking smack" forum, I have only had to give two users a "time out"....

Again, my thanks to huskydude for stepping forward to help out.

Jeff

HuskyDude, are you going to change your sign-in name or leave it as a testament to having seen the light? :D:D:D

Thanks for your help on this - Jeff has set the bar high but I'm sure his confidence in you is not misplaced.

Huskydude let me see .... ummm maybe he's just a big guy that rides GasGas...jk. :D Thanks for stepping in we appreciate it.

Yeah - I asked him if he minded changing his user name too... He's used that handle forever, so it stays.

Think of him as "husky" as in "burley" in an "Arnold" way... :)

To keep it even I'm going to change my handle at CafeHusky to GasGasDude and offer to moderate. :D

It's a small world.

Big thanks to Jeff and now Husky for taking on this task and making this a great place to get/give advice, ask questions and rant.

It was because of the input from great folks on this site that I bought my Gasgas and dont regret it one bit.

Keep up the great work and it is exciting to see the positive movement of both the Gasgas brand and this site.

Thanks,
Russ

BTW, that is one sweet XR Jeff! That bike will kill it in the Washington woods! I've seen some guys rip on XR's here in the NW and that XR looks like it is built to be a singletrack killer.

Wow ...Thanx everyone.

I'm just glad I can help Jeff out and be part of this place. In all honestly I find this place does seem to just run itself. With the maturity of everyone here we just moderate ourselves.

It's a great place.

Yes it does for the most part. Thanks for contributing Huskydude. Right now things are getting a little messy in the general forum, too many specific posts. I started but have to spend more time cleaning it out and moving threads very soon.

Thanks for stepping in Huskydude! Your contribution to this site has helped me also. Lot's of knowledge on this site. And I too would like to have an XR250/300? like Jeff's. Those are great single track bikes and with Ohlins to boot!
