Updates!
Saturday I tried to put the flywheel weight in, that didn't work. It's now up for sale in the Parts section.
Got another very excellent day of riding in Sunday. Still wasn't 100% happy with power delivery.
Yesterday after I cleaned her up all purty like I pulled the slide out and went from 1 lean on the DDK to one rich (bottom middle slot).
What a difference. Totally feels about ten thousand times better. Since I am three turns out on the air screw I need to go back to the 42 pilot for hot summer days, I might even try the lowest (richest) spot on the DDK needle. Settings in Jetting Database.
Also switched over to Amsoil Interceptor which appears to be blowing old powervalve goop outta the exhaust. Then I worked on pulling some more parts off the MC250 cradle/engine which was sitting neglected in my basement all winter. Still need to swap in new reeds, but I am happy for now.
