newer plastics fitment

At the moment the plastics on my 2000 300EC are looking dull & cracked, so think i might invest in some new plastics but would be nice to have some off a newer bike, i have searched previous posts & understand that some newer plastics would require a new rear sub frame, air box, seat, tank

what plastics could i use that are different to mine but are just bolt on?
also if i wanted to change the airbox etc to get newer plastics what plastics could i use then?

would like as much information as possible on

up to 2006 without any changes and newer with a little change. A friend of mine is running a 1999 with 2010 Six Days Plastics.

i would think so also... 2000 was the last year of that air box right ?

one thing i ran into on my 01, putting 04 rear number plates on.. the 01 air box door was different also.it would kinda fit, but not right... got an 04 and it was perfect..

when you say "newer with a little change, what change is needed?

ive seen some 07 250EC plastics forsale would they be ok with the change you talk about?
 
sorry to dig this back up but on one of those links Embalmer put 07 rad shrouds on his 02 EC400FSE, would they fit my 2000 ec300, thought id double check as im not sure if they used the same tank
