NZ riders, cheap air filters

R2 Enterprises, who distributes twin air is dumping the same model pre oiled honda filter which works with our gassers. They are selling them for $10 RRP. Any dealer should be able to get them at that price. The part number is AF150207X.
The dealer probably wont know about them being on special, unless they are a honda dealer. I bought 5.

Thanks

Got some of the air filters you mentioned. Got to be a good deal. I see you mention Bike Bonz hand guards elsewhere in this forum. Have you got any down to this part of the world. I have sent his guy money by paypal and several emails with nothing turning up.
regards
Warwick

So i jumped on their website and from what i read they send stuff to dealers? Or can we buy straight from them?

Ok i Will buy 3 of them then. Before i do are they still wash and reuseable?

Yes. Genuine TwinAir air filters, same basic filter that comes stock on your bike, only it has honda written on the bag and only has one filter cage prong hole.
They are easily reusable, I wash mine with turpentine, and then warm soapy water. Seem to last for ages.
Although its worth noting that these are preoiled filters, but it would be prudent to re oil them as you would with a clean filter, I dont trust the thin layer that comes on them as being properly oiled.

I made the mistake of trying to get the oil out of my used one with my standard No Toil remover - baaad. Turned it into a sticky sludge mess.
Took a whole bottle of kero to get it out (so my "cheap" airfilter not so cheap if I include cost of kero - doh!).

What was the problem? Notoil? Or the filter oil?

User error :p The No Toil remover only works on the No Toil oil.

Twin Air uses a different type of oil. Filters are fine after a good dousing of Kerosene.
