Oil in water / water in oil

Ok had a bit of a off on my 2015 300 and snapped the plastic thermostat off , had about 10 miles to get home so took it very easy and got home , fixed problem when bike cooled down , now I've got water in oil and oil in water , is the water pump the only place where the two meet ?

10 miles is a long way without coolant.

The water pump seal is most likely your problem.

I've bought a seal kit for the bike now , can you do it from the water pump side , pick it out or do you have to take it apart more ?

You need to remove clutch side cover. Get a gasket for this cover and pump cover.
