iv been starting my bike on and off for a couple of days doing some wiring..and iv started to notice oil leaking out of this overflow (see pic ) is it just oil not getting burnt off?? uploadfromtaptalk1396996011765.jpguploadfromtaptalk1396996047296.jpg

I ride a 250 and 200 both at 50:1 and get oil from both it is just unburnt 2 stroke oil like on the pipe no big deal.

As far as oil ratio depends on the oil and what YOU feel is best. To personal like tires, air pressure, sag, filter oil, trany oil

could I be too rich at 32/1 also? what are the majority off 300 riders mixing??

your oil mixture has very little effect on your rich or lean condition. Your carburation settings (jetting) is all you need to worry about for that. some oil coming out of the powervalve vent tube is normal. heaps of jetting info in intake/carburation section.

if you want to know what mixture to use look here

science - not opinion.

hope that helps out.

Before the powervalve does it's thing, there is a passage through it to the empty area under the left pv cover. It allows the exhaust gasses to bounce around there at low rpms to give it more torque at that engine speed. (much like the old ATAC chamber at the exhaust on the early '80s CR125, and why folks put oversized left pv covers on the 200 Gassers.)
After the powervalve moves, it closes that passage, and the above mentioned space is no longer in the equation.

The oil is coming from the drain of the left powervalve cover. I leave mine open and just let it drip. :)
