OK, I'm confused.

All US Spec bikes except for the first small container are coming with 45mm Zokes and Ohlins shocks.

Apparently the UK Dist is getting his "CC" models delivered the exact same way that the US is getting their bikes.

Holy crap! Scotty's right again! :D

Ok Clay I just spit my Thera Flu on my lap top!:D Funny I have that same problem and just can't seem to keep my mouth shut at certain times. Hence the name Boomhauer.:D

Ask Scotty or Rod O. I'm not known for being subtle. Prolly why I'm happier now rather than when I worked for KTM, huh?

Fun with g-men

...I called a friend at KTM and asked him how he worked with [the turd from EPA]. He says "Clay....you need to use a compliance company to deal with this guy. I know you and I know (name witheld) and you two will not get along!" I took his advice!

Clay, all of us who love GG can be grateful of your thoughfulness and resourcefulness in this matter. That was a good call, I would imagine we might not be seeing any `11 GGs in the States had the EPA interaction gone south. U da man.

You need a special type

of self control to deal with people like that.
And I mean that seriously- their mindset & personality is so foreign, that it's almost to the degree that you literally can't deal with them.
Hard to put into words- Probably similar to those that are in the Military and those that aren't- one will never understand the other.

I'm glad I found this thread. I'm really wanting to switch from my KTM 4T to an XC300 and I was really confused as to what suspension components the different 300 models came with. It sounds like all US models come with zoke forks and ohlins shock. The Nambotin is all ohlins correct? I've yet to find a price on one of those, if even available.

In a couple of days I will post a race report from a guy who has raced 4ts for 20 years but is now riding a Gas Gas 300 2T. I think it will surprised some of the 4T guys.
The first 20 250s and the first 20 300s that we brought in had Sachs suspension front and rear. After that, the bikes has a 45mm Marzocchi fork and an Ohlins shock.
The Nambo is Sachs outer fork tubes with TTX inserts and a TTX shock. Those bikes will be produced in April and here in May. The factory has not release the price yet but I expect it to be in the $10,500 range. This is a limited production unit, only 200 for the whole world.
Clay
