Hi All

I have been offered a left over 10 200 at ok money. How do people rate the 200 for hare and hounds and practice mx? I am a returning racer that had a few years off would be beginner to average clubman level..

Does anyone know where I can find a review of this model?

Regards

i can't comment on the 2010 model, but my old 200 is great for harescrambles. still competitive and 10 years old. i do need to get a new one though....i would buy another 200...

Thanks

Its either the Gasgas, tm144en or KTM150XC. I am leaning towards the GasGas though as its 1000 cheaper , I am also thinking that the GG will be more forgiving to ride!

Do the Gas Gas come stock with an enduro computer? This one does not have on and do they come with a switchable ignition?

I think in the states they do not have the computer or rear light, but all the wiring is there, just need to get a vector computer and the speedo cable and you sorted.

having said that it is probably better to just get an hour meter, that is the important part.

almost certain that it comes with the dual ignition switch

Hands down Go with the Gasser, why give up cc's ? and I would swap my 04 for a 2010 in a heart beat or.. er.. uh.. if pocket book would allow it.

I've used mine for MX, enduro's and hare scramble's also play riding, the bike just works everywhere.

Thanks a mill. I am leaning towards this bike. Has anyone ever fitted a rekluse or similar to one of these bikes (200)???

Blanc, I've seen your post on enduro.ie. The EC200 should come with a clock unless it's the XC model. I had a 2009 six days EC250 with switchable ignition & rekluse clutch. The 250 was too much for me & until I changed to 4T the 200 would've been my next bike. As for the rekluse clutch it's a great addition especially as it aviods stalling & is a godsend for finding grip on muddy hillclimbs. If you decide on the Gasser I still have my old rekluse which'll fit the 2010 EC200. Also the TM144 is a great bike!!!

thanks dude. im almost there on the 200. what rekluse did you run and re they hard to setup or install??

hi rob

i am looking at the black one there. if deal comes off ill talk to you bt clutch will it def fit??

Yeah, it'll fit alright. I was keeping it for my EC200, but as I said I bought Phillip McLaughlins 2010 TM EN250EFi. If you like I'll give you a dig out fitting it anyway. You racing Tinahely this weekend?

Thanks all,

I picked the bike up last week and rode it for the first time yesterday. Wow, its like a big 125, light, flickable but with smooth torquey power. I have a hare and hound in two weeks will let you know how I get on!

Enjoy Doon, it's a great track, technical more than tough but you get a breather on sections. Can't make it as I've a stag the night before.
