Overflow leaking 2018 300

Having this weird issue.
Once I had transparent plastic stuck above valve needle and it leaked occasionally unill removed and it stopped.

Now it is occuring again. Nothing stuck inside. It can leak or not. Probably does not leak or leaks less when riding.

Sometimes during ride pause, when sidestanded, it just randomly begins to leak. Engine hot.
Float level is stock + 1mm, so around 7.5mm. AS2.

I've reopened it many times, tapped on the bowl to unstuck the float, but it just leaks again. Inside everything looks fine, floats are not ruptured, everything moves without sticking.

Valve needle works flawlessly when tested with air pressure. No damage on the cone.

Cold bike has not leaked yet. Its always during the ride on random pause, but once it commences, it just doest stop, untill I tap it off.

Well, it can only be the needle and/or the seat if the float height is good and so is the float itself. I suggest polishing the seat and replacing the needle.

They all fail eventually. Just did a mates for the second time in his 8 year ownership. That said when he pulled the tap out there was a bunch of crud so this time it might have been that. But they are cheap and running out of gas mid ride sucks. Almost as much as leaking in my van
