Look at the Pipe guard says 07-08 which it was made back then and not updated in the markings. its a easy fix just sell that to someone that has 07-10 and just buy the correct one you need.... I have no idea what the guy ordered originally and neither do you, but we both know what he got shipped.
Maybe his " I don't like the way it looks" kinda meant he ordered wrong thing for his bike and wanted to put his mistake on someone else, I have no idea just don't sweat it it's easily fixed...

As you say. Is stamped 07-08. But, as you said; fits 07-10. Web site, markings on guard and packaging clearly states 07-11. Now you say not 11. Sell to another and buy again. No thanks. Good luck with your new company. Maybe a book on customer service is in order.

If bkwdc's guard is still new would it not be easier and good pr (esp for a brand that has been dragged through the mud as a result of bad customer srevice/communication on a good quality product) to let him send it to you for a replacement for one that will fit his bike? Just my opinion, rather than let this thread run more than 3 pages

Well if he would of bought it thru me heck ya I would.
Do you think FMF would swap him pipes out if he bought one from a individual on the internet then asked them to swap it out?
If it's new he should have no problem selling it then he can order what he needs.
Im sorry for what happened but I cannot swap him parts just because someone else ordered wrong one.

Here are the markings on your guard from pics you sent me.it is 07_08 which actually fits up untill 2010 because that mold was made in 07 so markings in mold cannot be changed. The web site does not state 07_ 11 for the guard you have it states 08_ 10 . I'm sorry the guy didn't know what he had and you bought it and now your mad at me which I had nothing to do with either transactions. I tried helping you out as much as I could.

How do you know what was ordered? He didn't buy it from me he got it from someone else off the internet. not me or any of my dealers.
